I am LaShunda Garner, owner and founder of I am H.E.R., a brand that is designed to spread awareness and provide vital information for breast cancer.

I was born on August 30th; a native of Dallas, Texas. I'm a mother of 3 children, Lauryn, Magen, & Mason. In 2014, we relocated to Houston.

I am H.E.R. was launched in October of 2022. God gave me this vision of the brand almost 4 years ago, shortly after being diagnosed with breast cancer in January of 2019. For a few reasons, one being fear, I did nothing with it. Nevertheless, God wouldn't allow me to forget about the vision. I kept dreaming about it. Ideas were constantly on my mind. It was something always kicking and leaping within me.

When breast cancer returned for the 2nd time in March of 2022, I knew it was time. Spiritual pregnancy was in full gear. I had to go through the 3 stages of pregnancy. Known as the trimesters.

Aborting nor miscarrying the vision was no longer an option. It was time to give birth.
